"Losing My Mind" (Mijas, Spain, 2022)
This piece was created inside a new collection full of colour, in a transitional moment, where I needed to create light from anywhere I could. Although, this painting is creating a shift to basics, looking for the simplest form, to relax the eye, to feel calm within that chaos. The lines in light grey and black symbolize how we can find peace and quiet if we know where to focus. The + sign means the search for the positive in the moments of darkness. The multiples lines mean all our personalities after a break up, where our mind runs crazy to many options and parallel outcomes. The open box identify a way to escape, a way to see the scenario from another perspective. Remember, your mind’s freedom is within you.
