"Balance" (Cordoba, Spain, July 2020) - SOLD
“Equilibrio” is the sister piece of “Igualdad”. These two artworks were created almost simultaneously and using jute as a base (so far, the only works I have in this material, which give them an special essence to me). Paintings are acrylics.
During the pandemic everything we knew, changed. Here it’s been represented the hopes (yellow lines), the illusions of building something new from zero (white lines as purity, unaltered, the beginning), the positivity (in the addition symbol, to add more good into our lives), the uncontrollable events that we must deal with daily (black lines), and happiness (in pink lines), because not everything is vanilla or “color de rosa” but we can choose how to face it and what to get from it.
